The new lift from Orri to the summit of Baqueira is now well under construction and will greatly improve the choice of runs.

New runs are added for this winter and a number of itineraries.

BAD GASTEIN Austria

A major refurbishment of the Tannenburg is underway to match the standards of the chalet-hotels in Lauterbrunnen and Saalbach.

A big improvement to the final descent to the village due to works on the runs and the installation of more snow cannon is promised by the lift company for this winter.

SERRE CHEVALIER France

The opening this winter of a high speed chair lift from above Villeneuve to the Col du Cucumelle will make a very significant improvement to Monetier skiing. The return will be easier and quicker as well as enabling much greater use of the Cucumelle skiing area.

This is the seventh high speed six person chair to be opened in the last few years.

SAALBACH Austria

The already very comfortable chalet-hotel Christina in Saalbach village is being significantly improved with the near doubling of the lounge that will now have an excellent Ski Miquel style bar.

Yet another new 8 person lift is being built ready for December opening, last year two were added to make the resort world class.

LAUTERBRUNNEN Switzerland for Murren and Wengen

Many new cannon on the lower slopes.

Skiers in this area are still getting used to the three major new lifts open for last winter. The new Eigergletscher six person chair lift is twice as long as the horrible tee bar that it replaced. The First lift will have more capacity.

This winter a new restaurant with stunning views is open at the top on the edge of the famous north face.
